Safing sensor

Post by Funokata » Mon May 27, 2024 12:15 pm

Hi all. Had various airbag codes for a while now. I replaced the clockspring and srs module which got rid of some codes I had previously. Now I'm stuck with 34 drivers airbag. I've checked out the connector immediately under the steering wheel, I know there is one to the left/under the glove box. Is anyone able to point me to the location of any other connectors involved in the driver's circuit and the easiest way to get to the safing sensor please? There is only one connector shown on the diagram (262)

Am I correct in thinking that the blue/orange connectors effectively "splice" together the circuits that run through the blue part? If a connector required replacing would I need to join both sets of circuits together? As in the image below

Much appreciated. Do they have better diagrams than the ones available on the forum? They're helpful but don't show every connector and there are a few abbreviations such as NCA which I have no idea what they mean!

Which diagrams are you referring to on the forum?

Thankyou so much! That's exactly what I needed. Turns out all the connectors and clockspring are good, it's the airbag module itself.

You might have fun trying to get a module as you can’t post them.
