Mx6 door glass seals for probes?

I'm wondering due to the Front door glass drip strip (part of the door seal underneath the roof gutter) bubbling and rusting under the rubber, having been sent replacements that are no better than the ones on the car, whether the later MX6 ones are a close fit?

Its a real bug bear of mine seeing bubbly crusty rubber and no apparent way to clean them up.

Any ideas on how to fix these and similar issues with discontinued parts?

If no answer before the weekend I'll compare as will be seeing my mx6 in storage on Saturday .

MX6 has a complete door frame doesn’t it?

I thought some images of later ones I saw looked like frameless doors? I do occasionally look for images of cars with frameless doors and I just get a page full of shower door fittings :lol:
Honestly there must be a way around the crusty door seal conundrum, even if it isn't 'as factory'
