Have you swapped the side light relay (f) as in the handbook in the engine bay Malc
If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll check that out,
I've got a job on tomorrow changing the inner track rod on the Gold ( very slight movement) due for mot in March
Hope you get the inner track rod done Malc
Manage to get another inner track rod from my local autoparts, fitted this afternoon, just need to get the tracking checked out tomorrow or Friday

Back to this light issue.
Position 1 on the stalk switch , energises K52 relay.
K52 only has one set of contacts , IF they are closed ., 12 volts goes to two fuses , one fuse for front lights, the other for rear lights
Also feeds to instrument panel lights , licence plate.

Finally side lights are now working thanks the to Trevor, (Micron)
He trace the fault to the wire from the fuse to the relay, under the main fuse box,
He hade to take the main fuse box out and replace to wire that feeds the reley from the fuse.
Glad he came up and sorted it.
I'm not good reading electrical diagrams. Its totally over my head, give me a mechanical problem any day
Thanks to Trevor

The wire from the 15A tail fuse to the side lights relay which is marked T/SIG had gone high resistance at a joint where it splits as it feeds two parts of the T/SIG relay.
We had to splice a bit in to make it work again.
