Bonnet Stripped

Post by Incognito » Sun Nov 19, 2023 4:29 pm

I've removed everything from the bonnet today, ready for it's bare metal respray plus also spraying the USA lids at the same time.
Does this electrical connection need putting back on? What is it, part of the alarm?

I don't think it's a standard part, I've not had one any of my 3 24v's

That because you never had an early car :o

It's the under bonnet light with bulb removed :)
Only found on early cars
It's a mercury switch, which is know to stay on draining the battery, Thsts why the large capless bulb is missing ;)

It's def an under bonnet light I have one on mine...
Have removed the bulb on mine so it doesn't drain the battery if switch is dodgy...
