What's This?!?!

Post by TrevorH83 » Fri Mar 03, 2023 12:02 pm

Hello!

I have just taken the wiper arms off to repaint them black and when I opened the bonnet to get to the nut for the drivers side arm I noticed this little cable not plugged into anything? Does anyone know what it is and is it important?!?! Its just tucked up near the bulkhead next to the inner wing.

Thank You!

it's the 8th mystery of the universe. my understanding (and as normal someone will correct me) is that it's for a diagnostic device, but not used here in the UK. it's a bit like your appendix, everyone starts with one, but no one really know why we have one?

On Left hand drive models, the A/c receiver in that position, so it could be something to do with that ;)

You have made a salient point Trev, so how do you know there are seven?
