Alternator bottom bolt
Hi all have a problem getting bottom pivot bolt on alternator out not enough clearance,what’s the easiest way to get it out

I have no experience of this but ...
Once you have the lower bolt loosened so that it slides freely, just pivot the alternator down and remove it. You do not need to completely remove the bolt.

Just removed alternator myself I found I had to drop the a/c pump out of way just be careful of pipes, remove the top mounting bracket from engine for extra clearance lossen the bottom alternator bolt the one that can’t be removed as it hits the frame but it doesn’t need completely removing, then pivot the alternator out from the bottom the mounting point, the bolt guide has a slit Down the length allowing removal, sorry for bad description but didn’t think of taking pictures as I was doing job and spent better part of a day working it out, hope this helps

Thanks everyone for your help will give it a go tomorrow,started to get cold now me and the Cold weather don’t get on with working outside

Thanks to everyone for the help on how to remove the alternator and pivot bolt,replaced alternator for a new one works a treat,happy days.
