I'm not sure, when I went out to the car he was stood waiting to give the penetrating fluid a chance to work. I had to go back inside because of my leg problem. Later he told my wife he had a problem getting it off and would get back to me, then came the suggestion the camshaft would need to be removed and the associated work involved with that.

Do you think that the guys is actually coming back? As for next steps, it's difficult to fully understand what is actually stopping it without more pictures of video?

I tried to send a video, but it said there was too much to send. He's trying to get prices for parts that may be needed if he has to/can take camshaft out.
But he's really busy at work, the regular garage couldn't fit me in until after Christmas.

That is very unusual, are you implying that the dizzy is now is two halves?

Looks like the cam will have to come out,and use a drift to hammer out the shaft and housing
thats stuck :o But may crack the head if its that stuck :o
Or if your good with tools strip the dissy down to the shaft only and apply some heat from a blow torch
on the shaft and tap the alloy surround thats stuck inside
