Re: Engine light
As Kev says the easy way remove the radiator,
but I'm not one for the easy way, when I've changed my alternator I've done it the other way, by removing the plastic under tray, then removing the 4 bolts that hold the a/c compressor then push it to one side, then remove the alternator.
I don't like messing about with the engine coolant system, but that just me.

Cheers thanks for everyone’s help, will sort it out when weather abit better all outside work Probe won’t fit in my garage.

Oh as well when I do rocker gaskets is it possible to replace the cam seals after the rocker gasket or best when rocker is off,as I’m doing cam belt change as well, had to do it all in one go on my Mx5.

Re: Engine light
you have to remove the cam wheels to replace the seals, so I would suggest that you do it all together, but replace the covers before you fit the new belt, even if that is loosely, because there are alignment markers on the cam covers for the cam shaft wheel alignment when putting on the belt.(see attached picture). You can then fit the covers properly afterwards.Tommyb 2579 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 10:19 amCheers thanks for everyone’s help, will sort it out when weather abit better all outside work Probe won’t fit in my garage.
