Hi has anybody upgraded their headlamp bulbs if so what's the verdict on the best legal lamps cheers

100w bulbs but you will need to get ceramic bulb connectors as the old
Probe ones burn out

In the States & one guy I know over here have gone down the LED route.
Bright but no beam pattern

I have LEDs in my TR7, but unless you pay decent money for then, they are crap, I think I paid £160 for a pair of H4s
also if the car is post 1986 they are, strictly speaking illegal

LED headlights dazzle me and give me a headache but when you are behind the wheel they don’t seem that good and what a cold uncomfortable light. Should be banned or de intensified in my opinion.

I used Philips Ultinon led bulbs in the past,seemed to work well

If you're after just bulbs I got
these, relatively cheap and quite a nice colour compared to standard yellow-ish halogen

Don't forget to solder on 2 of
these too as the old connectors are pretty naff
