Any pointers please? On low speed manoeuvres, turning out of drive etc, I'm getting a loud , cracking /clunking noise from the nsf. Can't work out if its suspension or steering. Nothing untoward feeling wise , just a disturbing noise. Doesn't occur on normal road driving .

Doesn't sound like cv noise, but strut top bearing sounds a good place to start. Are these available easily?

I'm pretty sure I've had both cv joints replaced over the last 5 years .

You could try a bit of WD40 squirted on the top mount, just to see if it stops it for a while, at least you would then know what it is and what needs changing

I would try from under the bonnet, just put some in and around the top nut, it should work it's way down.
