A battery that fits properly please!
Hi Guys,
I’ve seen the post in the knowledge base but I can’t seem to find the batteries associated listed there.
Is it still possible to buy a better that fits without pushing the bonnet up?
If anyone has any recent experience of this, I’d appreciate some help please.
For reference, I was assured that the Yuasa YBX3075 fits, but it doesn’t appear to fit well for me. :-/

Re: A battery that fits properly please!
I have just ordered an AM058L from ABS Batteries which I believe is the best fit as it has a flat top with just the posts sticking up:

Re: A battery that fits properly please!
I remember using Tanya before, so I ordered through them. There was nothing showing they were out of stock so hopefully that supply issue has been resolved.
To be fair, many industries are having intermittent supply issues with very roughly estimated delivery dates. Anything with parts originating in China, especially.
Fingers crossed, it will be here very soon.
Thanks, everyone

Groves batteries in Cheltenham.
Groves Batteries Ltd.

He told me what battery was in the car BEFORE I lifted the bonnet.

Re: A battery that fits properly please!
Is that because the gap between the bonnet and wing was big enough to read the label?!

Re: A battery that fits properly please!
You only get that gap if you're daft enough to fit the wrong battery. No personal experience, but how about you
Re: A battery that fits properly please!
I had exactly the same experience with them a few years ago,
They certainly know there stuff
