I found brake circuit diagrams. One with ABS and one without. They’re Mazda not ford but the ABS version should be the same.

Used pump from a Mazda 626 cleaned, painted, fitted and now it all works.

Try checking the flexi pipe they can collapse inside and stop fluid getting through, Dan westwicks chameleon coloured car did the same thing on mot brake check, was fine after replacing it.
