Alternator
Hi all , i’m Struggling to find correct Alternator for my 1997 2.0 Probe , ordered on off car parts for less and it’s wrong one , have searched net and not having any luck , old one is a Mitsubishi one , 12V 80A 7124 with no’s A2T 338 91ZTC

Was going to suggest Schmitz. I got my last one from them a couple of years ago. But the one they have listed for the 2.0 is £313.13!!! Ouch!!! 
..and by the looks of things it's the wrong one anyway.
Try sticking an ad in the wanted section on here.

have you tried taking your to a auto electrician to get repaired ?

I fitted the 2.0 L 80A alternator into the 24V Probe with only minor changes to spacers ,etc. So that can be done.
Does anyone know if the reverse is possible, ie 24v to 16V ?

One listing on ebay states alternator for 2l same as 2.5.are they same?
I find compatability from suppliers often wrong.
Best bet to find mazda part same as yours.
Mine 24 v but pretty sure when I bought mine it was a refurb so look at getting yours refurbed?
No tech knowledge at all but brainstorming to help
