Conrad’s 16v

Post by Kit » Thu Mar 24, 2022 6:39 pm

Went to have a look at Conrad’s 16v, at last today.
He has some running issues.
Starts Ok, but sometimes dies when warm, then is difficult to re-start.
Also at 70 mph, runs rough.

Set the base idle, with the link in Grd & TEN.

Any thoughts :?:

Conrad 64. Have I got the this right :?:

Could be a issue with the cooling to the throttlebody?, may need the cooling system flushing out
When we're the spark plugs changed, or the ht leads
My SBM had a slight hesitation even at 60-70mph when I started running it again after the winter (changed the plugs) and serviced the car, and no issues after that, ran smooth all the way to the NEC and back.
