Car has coil overs on at the moment that drive like concrete blocks. Looking to put stock suspension back on, should have some struts around but not on hand at the moment. Does anybody know if the strut inserts are changeable? Think would be better to refurb them unless they are welded sealed units? Or would I be better off just buying a new set for all 4 corners?
Charles.

Probably quicker to buy new shocks
What inserts do you want to use as replacements?
To be honest I’m not sure if they are a DIY job to replace them?

To be honest I have done a lot of research, was hoping to find out if it’s possible before spending hours searching and taking apart a pair.

I can’t say that I have heard anyone changing inserts?
If you are looking for standard replacement ones, you can search for Mazda 626GE as they are the same.

It's not just the shock absorbers you needed.
Top mounts, strut bearing, rubber seat for the springs and springs as well.
Quicker to buy a second hand set
