Wiring colour location

Post by 28Injectionford » Mon Jun 12, 2023 8:37 am

Heater resistor wires
If I’m to change plug type for heater resistor from late straight line
To the square early being the only option of a resistor potential if I can get one.
What wires go where from straight plug swap into square plug ?
Appreciate any ref to solve if I end up with an early resistor which looking more like gold dust as weeks go by lol

If you look on the rear off the resistor plug there stamped on there
so easy to convert, just make sure if you rewire the resistor is put back
into the housing as it needs the fan on to cool the resistor

He did supply one to me at show unfortunately it only work on full power same as the original one
Speed 1,2,3 nothing from motor
Assume I am correct as motor works it’s resistor that has failed ??
Or should I check something else I’m not thinking about ????

I think that Duncan has another one?
Yes you are correct, it’s just the resistance that slows down the motor.
