My 24v after charging the battery the book says it’s the fuel cutout been triggered and to reset it,done that the light is still on but if I rev it up goes off then back on as revs die down ,like it’s a alternator light not charging anyone else come across this.

Hi the engine light has come on
My 24v after charging the battery the book says it’s the fuel cutout been triggered and to reset it,done that the light is still on but if I rev it up goes off then back on as revs die down ,like it’s a alternator light not charging anyone else come across this.

Checked belts ok charge to battery was 12v and gauge on dashboard had hardly moved so think the oil’s on alternator have goosed it,new one it looks like.

Hi had a look at how to remove the alternator from my 24v m reg probe,can I remove it with out moving the air compressor or is it better to remove the radiator to take it out.

Cheers it looks the best way,but rocker gaskets will have to be done first or I’ll have same problem again ,thanks Cpt for your help.
