Retro fitting of Cruise Control

Post by Micron » Mon Aug 03, 2020 6:37 pm

Do all Probes have the wiring for cruise control? If I removed the modules, cables, switches etc, from a breaker, could I retro fit it all on too a car that currently doesn't have it?

There could be, but I guess if the cruise equipment came from the same year range as the car it's going on, I could also change the ecu if need be?

Only no early cars, cross over & late car you have Temic systems, with matched ECU’s

You really need a copy of the speed control diagram.
PM me and I'll send you one.
You will be pleased to know the Cruise control is a 'stand-alone' system, not connected to the ECU.
