Noticed a bit of steam from the car last week whilst queing at the hospital last week
so ordered some new rad caps so put on today refilled the system as low and took
1&half litres shocked left running for 10 minutes no steam yippee I thought but wrong
water by the thermostat housing so thought no probs cleaned the area restarted and then
found the leak as on slight slope its the water pipe between the 2 banks GRRRRRRRR So
now the manifold has to come off as they say shite happens, onwards and upwards

PS
if not the pipes are O Rings avalible

or just re,seat with Wnyss black stuff
or tiger seal

Might have a set of pipes on the dead block in the garden. I’ll have a look when I get home.

Hi Kev.

If you need "O" rings, I will either have them, or can get them for you. Never a good idea to reuse them, though I am not familiar with the pipe in question.

Worth mentioning Kev that I'm talking about generic rings not OEM rings. Not sure if they are available these days (OEM), but I can certainly get a suitable standard O ring if you are stuck.
