What year is your car, does it still have the side mouldings, if it does do they go on to the front wings

If it's a 1994, then it will be an early dizzy, the same as these at Rockauto

The mouldings are on the side of the car, some have been taken off, they run across the doors etc, same colour as the car

Ah yes. It does have those. Thanks for the link. Is there any way to improve or upgrade the reliability of these dizzys? Is it a certain part that fails?

Do you still have your immobiliser fitted (little black fob), if you do, then that needs to be by-passed, apart from that I don't think so, unless you go down the route of either external ignition coils or a mega squirt (lots of money)

Bump strips
Long ones, on to the front wings - early
Short ones. Not on front wings late cars
Cross over cars - both
