So the DUK has a nsr binding problem. No urgency but I'm getting parts in ready. I've new discs , pads and a brand new caliper just arrived. Assuming that it can't be freed and needs new parts , shall I need anything else to supply the garage that I take it to ?
Track rods and all 4 roll bar links in stock too along with both wishbones .

You could ask them to wrap the 'moving bit' of the caliper with Denso tape, or do it yourself as soon as it comes back.
Anything to stop salt water getting into that shaft seal area.

I've found over the years problems with rear brakes are normally a seized slider pin,
I`ve managed to removed the caliper (after a lot tugging) only once have I failed and bent the slider pin and had to change the caliper.
other issues have been the hand brake mechanism seizing, again fixed by removing the cable and soaking the mechanism with wd40 and slowing moving the unit backward and forwards, and changing the spring for a new one

I've mentioned this before but that handbrake caliper mechanism was designed by an evil genius.
Unfortunately, there are so many out of balance forces at work the shaft seal cannot cope and lets in the 'water'.
Job done, time and corrosion seize the shaft in the bore.

Many thanks for all your replies. Duncan, a club fix would be fantastic and much appreciated maybe in March time. It does need a degree of welding but it's good generally
