Central locking not working

Hi all, here a strange one, hope someone can point me in the
Right direction 😉
My central locking doesn’t work when I use the key in the
Door, or if I press locking button on drivers side door panel
But if I open bonnet, disconnect vehicle battery, and lock doors
Manually, when I reconnect vehicle battery Both doors
Open with central locking ? Help!🤔

Does it work with the passenger door?

Have you checked the connections behind the door card?

How are you with car electrics, can you use a meter if you have one?

Can you manually lock the doors while the battery is still connected, and then open them both again with the key?

It is going to be of trail and lots of error!

i had the same thing once and the actuator wasnt quite clicked on properly onto the back of the lock barrel

Ok, looks like I’m gonna have to take door cards off
And investigate, thanks all for input😬
