Literally the car will not crank. Had to push it back into the garage.

Can't see any unconnected wires, literally drove the car out the garage to do the diagnostic check for the ABS. Went to start the engine. Nothing.

Yes still the old school key fob immobiliser system. No the moby hasn't been bypassed. Battery is pretty good as it fired up and drove perfectly until I did that test today.

Could be time to bypass the mobby as in the oracle have you a spare key and fob to
test as fob battery maybe goosed
Have you a spare dissy to replace
Put a volt meter across the car battery to test and look at the voltage drop
when you try to crank
sounds like a moby fault thou theres only 3 systems to start the car
fuel pump
starter
ignition/dissy

Re: ABS warning light and chewed wires!
Makes sense but how could a diagnostic check cause that? Everything seemed in working order right before the test. I will next check the fob battery and car battery. I don't have a spare dissy to replace so will have to purchase a replacement one. You wouldn't happen to have one for sale?
Re: ABS warning light and chewed wires!
There should be a little light on the key fob which lights up if the battery is ok when you press the button.
Then you should hear a 'click' as the relays work in the moby.
Then the engine should crank over, etc.

Yes the little light on the key fob lights up and there is a little click once the button on the fob is pushed which it's always done, it still does that but no crank when the key is turned.
