Electric Aerial

Hi all, odd thing started happening with my aerial. Switch on Engine & I can hear the motor going, but extraction is 'reluctant'. Same when switching off the car/radio I have to manually push the aerial down in order for the motor to stop. its not stiff, but feels loose somewhat.

I'm guessing the cogs are wearing out. Is there a preferred aftermarket on on Amazon etc, that people have used?

Sounds like the mast cable has snapped should have some aerials here new and second hand
