I was shocked with the price of the clutch itself. I think Sutton Auto Factors had a choice of about 3 one was 50 odd quid.
The labour was at a garage across from work. I made a point of saying how much for cash so dunno if that helped. 200 to do and a tenner for oil he said

Had mine done in August. Sutton Auto factors do the clutch for the probe still or at least my local one did but had to order it in. I got mine from a shop in Notts called the valve shop they ordered it in the same day for £75 Guy at the garage who fitted it said it was a good brand too it cost £210 ...

Check your rad cap mine was gunked up. I cleaned it and it still idles a tad high but only for a couple of mins. The idle hunting has stopped.

Done that idle was high when it warmed up then it did a mad min where it was like reving itself up and down then it seemed to settle.
I will see how it is tomorrow.
Leds came today so at least i have the stuff to read codes if it comes to it.

Got some wire just waitin for the LEDs to come so i can check codes. The temp did go above normal the night the alternator belt snapped so the waterpump wouldnt have been working. The pipe that comes off the water pump and the top hose off the rad are both a strange shape like they are permanently s...

Cheers Mojo. Coolant and oil were topped up yesterday. Me and Paul Seymore also changed alternator belt as it had snapped.
I have OBD2 but believe these dont work on older cars. Is there a obd1 socket on it or is it a pedal sequence set up
