Re: Handbrake sticking

The lip seal around the shaft lets water in, rust does the rest.
You need to pack the gap between the lever and caliper body with DENSO tape.

Re: Handbrake sticking

Unless you have some really special tools , a permanent repair is unlikely.
A fiendishly complicated design with a fatal flaw.
Even a new one needs the DENSO treatment to prolong its life.

Re: Car won’t start after turning off engine

Yes , items like the CPS , ABS and Hall Effect sensors generate tiny little pulses of electrical current . Dirty or loose connections are as bad as a broken wire.
A missing pulse can e enough to stop the whole system.

Re: Car won’t start after turning off engine

Bit of Ju-Ju magic going on there.
The active pulse generated by the CPS only occurs at a time set by the gaps/magnets.
Once clean and hard contact, the connections will be fine.

Re: Coolant lose

If there is no sign of an external leak , nothing to see on the ground , radiator leak , hose connection ,etc , then it must be internal. From a cold start ,really fill the cooling system to excess. Leave that highest rad cap off, bonnet open ,get someone to start engine , do not rev it , idle is fi...

Re: Radiator cap

Forgot to say , everyone.
Always smear a trace of silicone grease on the rubber gasket before twisting it down AND
make sure the metal seat is really smooth too.
That is what tears the gasket when you undo the cap
It's the detail, that matters.
