I bought a new one after two used ones failed fairly quickly.
I went to carcooling co.uk. 4 years ago it cost £104 ish

Re: Correct oil pressure sensor for 94/95 24v
I'm looking to get an aftermarket variable sender but finding an American type that has high resistance at low pressure and about 130 to 3 ohms range doesn't appear to be straightforward. All I want is an idea what the oil pressure is really doing rather than being a posh idiot light without a bulb ...

Re: No hot/cold air
You should hear the servos moving the flaps behind the centre console when you press the different air flow buttons. They might be sticky or as said the heater control unit has failed. Unlikely the hoses have come off

Re: interior lights update
If you tested with the door closed there will be 12v on both sides of the bulb until you open the door and complete the circuit, unless of course the CPU isn't switching. There is permanent 12v on all the interior lights, the earths are switched, but the footwell and interior roof light is an electr...

Re: interior lights update
The boot light isn't connected to the CPU at all, just a plain 12v feed and switched to earth at the latch. All a short or overload would do in the boot is blow the Fuse. The CPU blow was probably a short in the footwell lights

Re: About Diagnostics
No reader has ever worked. By bridging (from memory) ten and gnd and putting an led to ten and fen (or something like that) turn the ignition on and the led will pulse long and short flashes. Translate these flashes to the code list and Dave's your cousin. Unless the ECU goes blegh because the fault...

Re: interior lights update
The boot and bonnet lighting are switched by micro switches in the latch. They switch a plain earth, which also arms and triggers the factory alarm. The CPU controls the interior light in a different way. The earth and line circuit for the light is within the CPU and switched via transistors and cap...
