Thermal fuse
Hi everyone, after getting code 51 yet again, I’ve decided to tackle replacing the thermal fuse, unfortunately, I snapped one of the wires to the resistor that accompanies it, does anyone know what resistor I need? Thanks

Oil leak
Merry Christmas everyone, found a couple of oil spots on the drive, opened the bonnet and there’s oil under the distributor, I’m not mechanically minded, so any thoughts on where it might be coming from and how big a job it will be would be much appreciated, thanks

Exhaust advice
Morning all, I’ve got a 1995 16v and I need to replace the centre exhaust, I’ve read that there is 2 different sizes for the 2.0 depending on when the car was built and the changeover is 95? Re: Starting
Thanks for the reply mate, it’s an s1 distributor, but I had it replaced last year with a new one as after about 20 minutes of running, the engine would cut out and not restart until it cooled down, now it’s the opposite, it splutters when I first start it but then runs fine, if I turn it off and re...

Starting
After finally sourcing and fitting an airbag module, the airbag light has stopped flashing. However, when I start the car, it fires up immediately but as soon as I touch the accelerator pedal it starts spluttering and cuts out, if I really rev it, it coughs and splutters and nearly cuts out but mana...
