Re: Probe won't rev beyond 4000rpm and lacks power

VAF = Vane Air Flow, which is fitted to the Probe. MAF is Mass Air Flow. They do the same job measuring the Air flow to the engine.
They can get dirty and not work properly, take it out and clean.

There should be a cover above the top of the box with a clear plastic dome, it goes in that.

Re: We all offer advice

I second that Kev, politeness costs nothing and is always welcomed.
While on the subject of politeness, what I find irritating, is when people enquire about parts, ask for photos Having take the time to do pics and send them you don't get a reply.
A simple " Thanks but no thanks" would do.

Re: door speaker size

Yes they are too small. Correct size is 6.25 " or smidge under 160 mm.
I have a pair of original speakers from 97 24v for £10 plus P&P.
PM if interested.

Also, remember to loosen the pinch bolt before adjusting the tensioner, if you don't you could bend or snap the tension adjuster bolt.

Re: Water Pump etc

If you are doing all that, you might as well do the alternator & Power steering belt a the same time.
