Re: DOOR KEY LAMP
I have found blueprints/diagrams of the interior Fuse box, does anyone have anything similar for the CPU which is attached to the interior fuse box? https://i.postimg.cc/SXq7cpX2/2006-09-11-133659-95-probe-fusebox.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/XGYfDckn/2009-08-29-160701-radi.gif https://i.postimg.cc/R6J7...

Re: A battery that fits properly please!

Re: A battery that fits properly please!
Hi, I have Ford Probe V6 2.5 1995 and I used to have a Halfords HCB165 calcium maintenance free battery until a couple of years ago when they discontinued that particular one. Even a substitute one from Halfords didn't fit. After a long search, I did find one on eurocarparts- Lion batteries calcium ...

Re: Alarm keeps going off.. Disable?
If you want to diagnose and disable the alarm sensor, you can disconnect the harness in the door, the sensor is located behind the panel marked in red/yellow. https://i.postimg.cc/BLTPSLfK/IMG-5644.jpg There are 6 screws marked with yellow star and 7 pop ups marked in red Mirror cover in the top lef...

Re: Alarm keeps going off.. Disable?
Hi, I had the same problem you did, my symptoms were alarm going off randomly, usually during and after bad weather, i.e. raining, windy or foggy or very hot weather with condensation, the moisture resulted in the alarm going off and the auto lock going up and down trying to lock or unlock the car o...

Re: DOOR KEY LAMP
These are pictures of the CPU. I can't see any damage any shape or form and it looks clean and dust free. https://i.postimg.cc/zLVpLD86/CPU1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/xNyPrc3J/Ford-Probe-CPU-2021.jpg I have circled the capacitors, C1, C21, C3 which I think might be the reason why all 3 lightbulbs don...

Re: DOOR KEY LAMP
Thanks for the info, on Sunday, I will check if there is electrical current on the driver's side door harness which controls the microswitch and lightbulb and see what voltage comes up on the blue and black wires, and then check the voltage on the 2 white wires for the lightbulb. To try and make it ...

Re: DOOR KEY LAMP
Thank you for the replies. Next week I will try to trace the voltage. Yes a wiring diagram might definitely help to pin point exactly where the bulb wire goes. As for the CPU, there are quite a lot of pins, do I check any specific pin? How do you test it? The specs for the bulb are from the Mazda RX...
