Re: Rusty sunroof

Thats some good advice. I had completely forgot about shot blasting and I was pondering how to tackle it with a grinder  My current tin roof isnt too bad but rust is often worse than it looks. I know a local shot blaster so ill have a chat with them and see what they can do.

Rusty sunroof

Hi everyone. Has anybody attempted to repair a probe sunroof? I can see its manufactured in two parts and then bonded together somehow. Has anybody managed to split the two parts so that the rust can be removed properly from between the two? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Sunroof help

Yes the roof lining is out. The main nuts that hold the tray in are nice and tight. I see 4 nuts in each corner which can be turned by hand but I think they adjust the height of the roof panel. How does one adjust the lid so it doesnt bounce??

Re: Cooling fan problems

I have finally found the problem. It turns out I have a broken signal wire from the ECU to the low speed relay which is located behind the front bumper. I will trace it back as far as possible. If I cant find the break I will run a fresh wire over.
