Thanks everybody for your input.
I've done a few engine swaps in my time, so I thought it would be easy....... Not so apparently.
The reason I wanted to keep this particular car is that it's been in the family since 1997, been well looked after, garaged etc and only 60000 miles.

2.0 to 2.5V6 engine swap
Hi, Maybe this has been covered before on the UK site, I don't know. Seems to be a popular topic in the States at the moment. I've inherited a Probe 16V and after doing some research on the Probe and the MX6 it seems that the 24 valve V6 model is much smoother and more powerful. Has anyone out there...
