1997 24v v6 manual. I’ve just bought the car and it has been idling really low around 200rpm when warm, and the only way to keep it idling adequately was to keep the ac on. So I thought I would do the procedure to adjust the throttle position sensor. I slackened the 2 bolts that hold the tps to the throttle, and went to turn it to adjust the fans on/off but which ever way I turned the tps the fans stayed on. So I’m starting to think the tps wasn’t keyed properly to the throttle body. I’ve taken the tps sensor off and gave it a clean anyways but can’t figure out how it’s meant to key into the throttle body or even if it is the correct tps , can anyone help cheers.
