I got some of E-bay, but they where too short for the ignition,
I use then only for the door & rear hatch.

Go to 'good' independent ironmonger, that cut keys, & tell him to use Mazda blank

Beware, Thompson are not cheap!

I use to get “chipped” key cut&programmed half the price by a market trader

What price are we talking about for a chipped key? I have two but it’s always worth having spares.
Death, been there done that!

And try if possible to not use original key when they get used they can be harder to cut.

Trying to open the boot with the key is not a good idea.
Even if the key doesn't completely break it starts a hairline crack, which will surely break sometime, somewhere.
