Sad day

Post by mojo98 » Thu May 10, 2018 7:29 pm

Feeling very low right now :( :( there was a accident teatime yesterday in Billingham, air ambulance at scene, but just found out late this afternoon the person had died, and it was my old golfing partner, I'm absolutely gutted him and his wife and family, he died less than 100 yard from his house, when he was knocked down and air lifted to hospital but died later.
Just can't believe it,, it's knocked my end in to say the least
:( :( :(

Sad news Mal, it's always a bigger shock when something like this happens unexpectedly. We should all live for the day a bit more, nobody knows what's round the corner. :(

Get up in the morning and go for a round in his honour.

Thanks everybody, ever since 1989 my attitude about life changed when the plant I worked on blow up and 2 off my team were killed, and I can still to this day see it,
it will be 30 years next year, and it just like it happen yesterday, So I do live for the day since then, because you never know what`s around the corner. and with what happen to my golfing doubles partner it goes so show its a must.
still very sad for his wife and family. RIP Gerry

So sorry to read about your friend and the plant tragedy Malcolm. Memories that will always be with you no doubt, but lets hope the memories of your mate soon turn to happy memories of two friends, enjoying one another's company on a golf course in the way that memories should be.
