I'll look at the dizzy next week when I'm home and I'll let you know
It all started when I lost my key
Does the car need the immobiliser or can it come out and work without it being
Thanks

If it's as we suspect an early car then immobiliser can safely be removed & bypassed,in fact recommended
Unfortunately the earlier systems had a habit of frying the distributors but I'm unure if that's the case here

Check the dissy first and look at the firing order on the cap, which will tell you if its early or late
post a pic up ;) As could be a change over model ;) If a late model you would have found a small
block on the ignition that says Temic ;)

Have you connected up the ignition to the steering column and connected
up the ignition to the other temic box :?:
Behind the ecu is another Temic box to connect to you may need to get a
matching number ecu if the plugs don't fit the new one ;)
You can use wd 40 to clean I use elec cleaner/carb cleaner
