			I would appreciate any advice.....
16v, S3 dizzy. Car started misfiring slightly but kept running. Replaced the dizzy and all good again

I would now like to trace the fault on the old dizzy and refurb it so I have a good working spare.
I have stripped the old dizzy down and tested the coil - primary shows zero ohms and secondary 25.2 kohms
I don't know how to test the ignitor or the condenser.
Any ideas please?

Thank you , but not much of any help on YT that I could find tbh.
I am pretty sure it is probably the transistor in the igniter module. They are cheap to buy but I have been unable to desolder/remove it

so I have ordered a refurbished igniter unit.
Strange - I knew S1 dizzys are prone to failure but thought the S3 was pretty bullet-proof.
