No hot/cold air
Only been on the road for a few months and noticed that I’m not getting hot/cold air from the front facing vents/windscreen etc. footwell works. Fuses all intact, vent switched open. Any ideas?

Re: No hot/cold air
If it is only some vents that are not working, then it can only be a few things.
Air pipes from the heater come off
Heater matrix is stuck on the foot well
Heater Controller not working, which could be faulty or a plug has come out the back?
Does it get nice and hot in the foot well?

Interesting, the cab gets nice and hot after warm up and I’ve got air at the footwell but it’s quite weak.

Does the speed increase if you turn the fan up, or only work on 1 and 4, or maybe not at all?ryanandcharl wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 12:41 pmInteresting, the cab gets nice and hot after warm up and I’ve got air at the footwell but it’s quite weak.

Re: No hot/cold air
I guess 1-4 work as the sound of moving air increases on each number, just no production coming from the windscreen/front facing vents. The flow to the footwell is weak also when on 4.

Re: No hot/cold air
I would go back to looking at the heater behind the dash, or from the footwell, and see if anything moves etc. Also check the controller?

Re: No hot/cold air
I would still be inclined to backflush the heater matrix. It can get air locked on a 2ltr even though logic says its not not the heater.
