Re: Probe Unusable -Non Tickover
I fixed the problem today. It was the MAF. I'd got a spare, unknown MAF from the boot of DUK when I bought it tucked away in my spares.
Question now is, is my faulty MAF fixable or is it to the bin?

Re: Probe Unusable -Non Tickover
Just an update, the problem wasn't fixed at that point. A 3rd MAF fitted but still kept dying when idle needed. Blackpool looming.
I disconnected the battery for a few hours, reconnected and problem seemed to be solved. Well, a 340 mile round trip to and from Blackpool and she didn't cut out once

Is this sorted? Was checking my PCV valve had suction & my V6 wouldn't idle with this out, try that and the pipe attached. I got new PCV valve from Mazda £32

Yes, another MAF and then disconnected battery for an hour, all sorted .
