Just to refresh so you've all the information.
Originally I had an idle issue that I thought may be a loose plug. On examining the plugs, I've a problem with the leads whereby the lead suction ends have removed themselves in 4 of the 6 pots and stuck around the plugs.
Anyway, all up and running yesterday, but a very slight miss, a bit like running on 5.5 cylinders. So I started to remove each lead while the car was running, thinking that if one doesn't make much difference on the idling then that'll be the culprit. On removing one of the leads from the plug, the engine did what you'd expect and dipped in power so much that the engine stalled.
Since then it's never even tried to fire after numerous attempts.
While turning over and over and over I can smell unburnt fuel. On turning the engine over while holding a HT over the engine, I get a spark. I've checked all obvious connections, changed the dizzy cap and replaced with a new rotary arm just in case , but no difference.
Have I fried my dizzy ? But I'm getting a spark.

Any thoughts please
