Though I loved the life , dear old Blue Funnel were mostly DC powered and I thought my only other job prospects would be as a curator in
a DC museum.
So, a big relief to get to Hinkley Point B.
Which is how I got to 'play' on the reactor simulator at Berkeley , irradiating most of the West Country when it went super-critical.
It always makes me smile when I see Homer Simpson do that in the opening scenes.
Some really scary stuff held deep underground there too , you will have to ask your bro' about that.

I wish I could but we lost him about ten years ago. His name was John Bozworth...? Might you have known him? He was a great engineer and my inspiration as a child. He built his own welder, with which he made a cement mixer with which he built his own house!
