Just been reading a few posts, wondering why you have
To bypass amplifier, thinking of upgrading stereo unit?

Basically just run fresh wires to all the speakers from the new head unit.

or just get a stereo harness adapter to standard stereo blocks. you'll still run through standard amp but you can have an updated head unit.

do all probes have the amp,if so where to find it ?
i have a aftermarket headset and used the original speaker wires
reason for asking is my front right speaker is very very quiet compared to the other 3 speakers
been wondering why for ages :?
if i have a amp,could be that maybe

Amp is behind the Side Rear Panel on the Drivers Side 8-)

The wiring harness is a lot less hassle.

It is a lot less hassle, and the standard amp is actually quite good.

I removed it from Japha and ran new wires, but still have it in Chewie running off an adaptor.

Both now have exactly the same aftermarket headunit and Chewie is sooooo much louder.
Granted, it does start to distort after a while, but it is louder.

i took the rear panel off today and i dont have a amplifier there,
just all 8 wires into a white connector under the speaker,so that saves me some time 8-)
