Anyone pulled that plug apart?? Tried (gently) in hope that I can just swap the plug and reconnect/replace just the burnt out one, without going down the cutting everything route......
It’s not playing

I would be more worried as to why it's burnt in the first place?

but to answer your question, no I haven't

I bought a set of pin removal tools from ebay for a couple of quid.

Really useful for pulling individual wires from that sort of plug without destroying it completely.

You could possibly use them to remove all of the wires from the knackered connector, fix the melted wires and refit into a new plug.

Not done one myself Stu but if the CPU is ok ;) suspect the circuit failed on the clocks (printed circuit)
It maybe possible to just cut one side off. And re solder the other connections(new block)
Is this Yours/Frags old car/now yours ;)

Cheers all!
Gone down the cut route

Have spare clocks, so cut out the connector from breaker!
Borrowed some bits from the engineers at work, and now I have this....

In the morning disconnect all power, chop and reconnect and cross everything

Weird driving it at night with no dash or interior lights anywhere, stealth mode 😂

Well that did it, clocks etc all working again!
Some gauges not quite sitting in normal places though, but working ok, I think!
Early oil gauge, so have to swap oil pressure switch at some point for an early one to match 👍

Still no horn or cc tho, playing with that was what fried clocks in first place :?
