upon finishing the fuel filter ( what a nasty job that was )
i have some slack on the throttle cable & cant figure out this locking mechanism to tighten it
does someone know how to release it so can make adjustment ??

The easiest way to get to the fuel filter, is through the wheel arch, by removing the splash guard

Thanks Duncan,I will remember that for next time do you know how to adjust the throttle cable ?

For future reference,anyone who needs it :
1 pull out then pull up the little white clip & it comes off
2 you can then turn the part with arrow on 180degrees
This frees the cable
3 slightly pull on cable before spring ( to take off the slack)
While holding cable turn the black part with arrow on 180 Degrees back to where it was this grips a new position, then to replace the small white clip.
maybe it’s a fluke but it worked for me
