Coolant lose

Have been loosing coolant since I got the car about a year and a half ago. Just changed the radiator cap and filler cap to no avail. I’ve ordered a head gasket testing kit, but don’t have any other signs such as bubbling or oil, no smoke from exhaust. I’m hoping to get advice for something to check, or perhaps a diagram of the coolant system as no visible leaks.

If there is no sign of an external leak , nothing to see on the ground , radiator leak , hose connection ,etc , then it must be internal.
From a cold start ,really fill the cooling system to excess.
Leave that highest rad cap off, bonnet open ,get someone to start engine , do not rev it , idle is fine.
What you do NOT want to see , are bubbles continuously showing on the water level in that rad cap filler position.
That's a head gasket problem.

No bubbles. But going crazy not being able to find it so going to test it for peace of mind. After reading up I’m thinking possibly heater matrix, have had trouble before with it becoming air locked and wondering if maybe it’s leaking, the car never overheats or goes to low on coolant, so perhaps leaking from there until it doesn’t reach the top?
