Window washers not working

Post by Scooby » Wed Jan 09, 2019 10:41 am

As per title, I can't hear the motor, although it did work once after I'd turned the engine off, but then didn't work the next time I tried it.

Any ideas what it could be before I strip the front bumper off?

No need to take the front bumper off kev, take drivers side wheel off and the inner arch cover
to gain access,Mine was motor Knackered, jumped the wires no go, tried the usual flush etc no go,
could also be internal fault on the stalk

Didnt I have a similiar issue before and someone suggested cleaning the sensor in the washer bottle.
I did and mine was sorted but I didnt have a motor issue.

Motor replaced by simply removing the inner wheel liner.

For info, the motors from both front and rear washer bottles are interchangeable, and it is the same motor as was used in the Capri Mk3!
