In the dark

Post by Tommyb 2579 » Thu Dec 21, 2023 4:52 pm

Travelling home from Southport the other night on the M6 in the pouring rain my headlights suddenly turned off 😱 on a section of motorway with no road lights,in a panic I put the high beam and driving lights on till I could exit the motorway, the day after had a look at lights, the bulbs were tested and ok ,fuses were ok put a new relay in still not working checked wiring to headlights seemed fine ,only other thing was the switch on the indicator arm ,l got one of these as a spare of andyp earlier this year when Andy did a van run, disconnected the connections under dash to the indicator arm and connected it to the spare one, hallelujah lights came on,so spent the day stripping steering and shrouding off to fit new one,so thanks to Andy saved the day and an additional bonus the indicator stork had been fitted with a flash to past that still works perfectly, job done 👍
