engine wont turn over.
Hi all, i have a 1995 probe 16V. When i turn the key all the lights come on as they should but there is no power going to the starter motor. I have changed this but it is still the same. All the other electrics in the car works fine. Could it be a starter relay and where is it situated?

I feel that we need much more information.
As it’s been said does it have a fob?
Have you checked the battery and the connections, as it maybe enough to do most things, except start it.
There is a fuel cut off in the boot, but I think you can still trim it over even if it’s tripped out.
The 100 amp should be fine as the other parts are working.
Do you have access to a meter, and can check the voltage going to the starter.
Why did you change the starter, was because it was faulty or because you thought it was?

Thanks to everyone for their advice. After checking all the fuses and relays, making sure all connections were good ( starter was changed about a month ago) someone said check the earthing strap. It seemed ok, secure and without damage, i took it off cleaned it up and its starts!!! Really appreciate everyone's input, cheers lads.
