could well be a module fault did you continuity test the module when off
i would say continuity on the unit its self as you tested the connector plugs and
not the unit

continuity is ok, unfortunately, looking at the pcb there seems to be some damage where a capacitor has leaked. Bit stumped as to what to do now!
