Handbrake/ fluid rez light on when heavy brake

Hi All
My probe has developed a bit of a strange fault.
Handbrake/brake fluid rez light comes on when I brake heavily.
I was quite alarmed at 1st thinking I had blown a hose or somthing. But quickly ruled that out, and the pot is still showing max fluid.
I've done a bit of fault finding and ruled out the handbrake switch. All fine no loose contacts switch works great good condition.
Unplugged the sensor to the brake fluid pot and that stops it happening when it's unplugged, so I can only assume its the sensor at fault. I can't think of anything else that would be connected to that light?
The sensor looks to be part of the master cylinder fluid pot so can't really have it out to look or test it properly.
Is there somthing I'm missing? Or do I just need a new pot/sensor the thing that is perplexing is it only happens when I brake heavy. If it were a sensor fault would it not be on a the time?
